Hi

Could someone pls pass some sage advice on how to spend 9 wonderful days of honeymoon & adventure in South Island in mid June?

Prefer to stay in a hostel or value-for-money hotels. Pls give your recommended hostels/ bed & breakfast with a daily itinerary.

Thank you for your help in our celebration of love!

I cant help with the hostelrys, but my personal recommendation would be rent a campervan and drive round wherever you wished.

doing the same thing in august! just got back from a month long holiday on south island...i recomend starting off in nelson, abel tasman park is absolutely gorgeous. two to three days there, then head south to queenstown. use it as a base to check out milford sound. if you want to trek, routeburn is my recomendation.

queenstown is nice sized for a honeymoon.

good luck! and congrats.

I'd go for the camper as well, its cheaper at this time, you travel in your home, no rush, no accomodation worries, private and you can park anywhere for a romantic evening....
