The ideal time to visit Holland is between mid-May and early October, when day temperatures are generally 20 - 30°C, with nights around 10 - 20°C. It can be quite rainy, so bring an umbrella. Holland's tulip season runs from April to mid-May.

Holland has typical European weather conditions, it has a temperate, marine climate with cool summers and mild winters. The coastal regions of Holland have the mildest climate throughout the year and the lowest rainfall. In summer months the slightly higher temperatures are more likely to produce thunderstorms accompanied by heavy showers.
