Book a hotel in Hungary
There are not many hotels available in Hungary. Most travelers choose to stay in private homes in rooms which are booked through a travel agency. You may also opt for a Hostel which is relatively cheap but not very available outside of the bigger cities such as Budapest. Of course, renting a room gives you the privacy of your own bathroom as well as peace and quiet and is usually well worth the money.
University dormitories are often used as hostels during the holiday months. Camping is also an attractive option as there are more than 300 camping grounds available throughout the country. One needs to be careful to get a good price when booking accommodation as tourists are often offered more expensive deals at first. If you plan to book in summer, you might well choose to do so in advance as it is popular with tourists and accommodation becomes scarce.
