Bullfighting
The first bullfight can be traced back to the year 711AD when King Alfonso was crowned. Originally it was a sport for the aristocracy. King Felipe V however wasn't so happy about this and he put a stop to it saying that it was a bad example for the common people. They had however already made this sport their own and weren't about to give it up. In 1724 it become the sport we now know whereby people dodge bulls unarmed.
